About

Grant is originally from Moorhead, MN. He earned his undergraduate degree from Minnesota State University Moorhead before completing his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at the University of Jamestown. He is a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) and is certified in Dry Needling. Grant enjoys helping patients of all activity levels reach their physical goals, with a special interest in treating neck and back pain.

Grant appreciates the laid-back atmosphere and gym setting at Total Balance South Fargo—a space where people feel comfortable showing up, putting in the work and making progress.

His approach to care centers around personal goals. Grant focuses on understanding what each individual wants to achieve and then equipping them with the tools, knowledge and confidence to get there. He especially enjoys working with motivated individuals, helping them move better, feel stronger and return to the activities they enjoy.

One thing Grant wants people to know about physical therapy is that pre-surgical therapy, or “prehab,” can dramatically improve post-surgical outcomes. Preparing the body ahead of time often leads to smoother recoveries, better strength and a faster return to the activities you love.

Outside of work, Grant enjoys spending as much time as possible with his family, along with hunting, fishing and constantly learning new skills.
