About
Aaron graduated from the University of North Dakota’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program in 2023 and joined the Total Balance team soon afterward. He enjoys working with patients of all ages, helping them regain strength, mobility and confidence through individualized care. Aaron is LSVT BIG certified, a specialized program for people with Parkinson’s disease and other neurological conditions, and has additional training in pain science education, joint mobilizations and manipulations, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) and cupping.
One of Aaron’s favorite parts of working at Total Balance is seeing success extend beyond therapy. Running into former patients in the gym, catching up and hearing how they’re continuing to move, exercise and feel better is what the work is all about. He also loves the community atmosphere at the Moorhead location, where people of all ages and fitness levels support and encourage one another.
Aaron’s approach to care is centered on connection, motivation and education. He takes time to understand what drives each individual and focuses on helping patients feel comfortable in the gym and confident using equipment, so they have the tools to continue exercising long after therapy ends. He believes education is one of the most powerful tools in physical therapy and enjoys answering questions—any and all of them.
One thing Aaron wishes more people knew is that physical therapy is highly individualized. Every person comes in with different goals and expectations, allowing treatment to be tailored in a way that truly fits their needs.
Outside of work, Aaron enjoys spending time with family, golfing, reading, staying active and following basketball, golf and football.
